Arrival date: Tuesday 12 May, arriving at the Hotel by 15:00 hours
Departure date: Friday 15 May, group departures will be arranged in-line with flight departure times.
Please book your Economy flight class ticket to either Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK)or Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) through your DHL country office as soon as possible.
All flight bookings should be made with your time of arrival at the Hotel being no later than 15:00 on Tuesday 12 May.
If there are no flights available from your location, where you would arrive to the Hotel by 15:00 on Tuesday, please contact the Registration Team dhlscc@rlcuk.com about a possible arrival on Monday 11 May, and provide your proposed flight details along with this email.
Any arrivals before Tuesday 12 May must be approved in advance before you make your flight booking.
Flight booking notes
The global SCC budget only covers economy class tickets, so this rule applies to all participants.
Economy flights to the event have already been pre-approved. Please ensure that you book your flights as soon as possible (via your local DHL office) so we can secure the necessary nights at the hotel.
The ticket should be booked on your office’s cost center, but later the cost can be MAAed back to Global Head Office. The instructions for this process will be shared with the countries via the SCC regional coordinators.
Traveling to Beijing via other countries
Do check for any visa requirements if your flight transits through other countries.
Travel and Medical insurance
For the duration of the conference (including travel days) you will be covered by the DHL travel and medical insurance. Please ensure that you upload your flight ticket via the registration system as this is required by the insurance company. Should you wish to extend your stay in Beijing you will need to have your own travel and medical insurance cover.
Arrival at Beijing International Airports
On arrival to either airport, a complimentary pickup service has been arranged to transport you and your fellow DHL SCC winners to the China World Summit Wing Hotel. Once you have collected your luggage, head to the meeting point where you will be met by a member of the Destination China team.
You will then be guided to one of our charter vehicles for your transfer which should take approximately 45 minutes from Beijing Capital International Airport or 1 hour 30 minutes from Beijing Daxing International Airport.
Arriving directly to the hotel
If you are local to Beijing or have arrived earlier prior to the event dates, please make your own way on Tuesday 12 May to the China World Summit Wing for 15:00.
Departing from the hotel
Group transfers to the airport will be provided on Friday 15 May, departing from the hotel in line with your departure flight time. You will be notified of the time of your transfer once you are at the hotel.
